Southern Illinois | Yeah New Leader has those valves with the cartridge. Where the motor and main rotary spool are one piece and that screws into the valve block to control the main spool.
It is a fast close valve so running it on pwm should just slowing make it open all the way up. A pwm signal doesn't reverse voltage to allow it to close.
Just a thought though, are you sure there isn't a crack in the bed relief because that will definitely mess up the bed rate by dumping off pressure.
Really may end up needing to put a pressure gauge and a needle close valve on there and check the relief pressure.
Also does this application use a dual pump to separate the bed and spinners or are they run in series hydraulically. Does this have a pwm spinner control or a manual turn valve. If the spinner rpm is erratic also that could help narrow it down.
Do you have access to New Leader hydraulic diagrams? I may still have some around. | |
