Western Nebraska | As an update, I had spoken with our Dekalb territory rep on Wednesday to try to resolve after my dealer said there was nothing he could do - she agreed to try to locate seed by end of week even if a different variety (within a few day maturity). As of this morning I never received a call back, and can't get ahold of her - we are moving on. Had figured she likely wouldn't come through on locating seed as the vast majority of the call on Wednesday was a long spiel about territory / dealer allocations, shortages, etc. I am so tired of these seed companies at this point - they push us to prepay earlier and earlier every year for discounts, sit on prepaid $ for months, and present a territory supply issue with a slew of excuses a couple months before planting? If they put forth half the effort they spent giving excuses into locating seed I'm sure they could've come up with it at this point. | |
