NC Kansas
We sell Channel so coming out of the same Bayer pipeline of production, and we generally have very few issues. Usually if there is a hot new number that's in short supply then we know about it up front and plan accordingly, but I'm sure there can always be surprises. Is this a very new number that would have limited supply, or a well established popular number that should have had a built up supply? We have an older hybrid 217-41DG that works really well here but they don't sell it much anywhere else, for the last 2 years they've told us it may be the last year as they simply don't know if there will be enough demand to produce it. We still got all we wanted this year but have been transitioning customers to newer stuff when we can. I guess I'm giving that example that some hybrids get popular in a small area and they just don't sell enough across the country to produce a lot, so supply can issue.
