SE Iowa | Not sure who your dealer is but mine has been pretty upfront about Dekalb issues for me for the last few year anyhow. He simply does not like selling it and says every year is a struggle. I only did 12 units of a newer Dekalb number to continue to track to see if I’m missing out on anything. Loosing that prepay discount sucks but if your a new customer elsewhere with a different dealer I’d wonder why your not getting an even better rate? Not sure how the farmer is protected in this instance but if they took your money for a specific seed and could not supply it I would at least ask for money back plus interest. :) worth a shot! | |
