I always used #2 Cenex Field Master Red with an anti gel additive such as Schaefer’s Diesel Treat or Farm Oyl Anti Gel mixed double strength
I agitated the additive in as soon as we finished fieldwork in the fall.
When the co op had an arctic blend without #1 I used it without any gelling problems. The tractor was stored in an unheated shed when not in use.
