NC KS | No 1 and kerosene are different but will do the same thing as far as gelling goes and preventing it. Kerosene is rarer and more expensive in my neck of the woods. Used to be easy to obtain in bulk.
Some stations have a pump with no 1 in it. In a cold snap like this, word gets around and there will be a parade of fuel trailers and tanks in the backs of pickups filling up with it. | |
