here our fuel supplier brings our fuel year round and switch to their winter blend in October, has additives in it already, I have no idea if its #1 or 2 or what combination, but gelling is a non issue for anybody I know who uses fuel from them, or any local supplier for that matter. it is wonderful and I have to chuckle with all these posts about fuel problems. at least in the states where you know its cold in winter. the warmer states I can understand not being prepared for it. but the rest I just can't understand.
Same way here, but that being said if you want a few cans of #1 to mix with the #2 you have in a tractor it is darn hard to find a station with straight one as most just have blended on the pumps for what they perceive to be "normal" weather till the next tanker comes, I only know of one that caries #1 on a pump. |
