N.E. MT | We only ever run straight #2 but run stanadyne winter additive. Buy it in 5 gallon buckets and put it in before the tanker comes. we do have heated shops so typically everything needed for when it’s horrible cold has a spot
inside. #1 only has 85-90% of the btus of #2 and costs way more. I wouldn’t be concerned about needing #1 unless you’re getting Down to -25 or colder. Without a heated shop it’s just easier to run straight #1 or only feed with a gas bale pickup. | |
