The H is inexpensive to buy and restore and looks neat. They can run good and be fun.

Now the bad, they were replaced for a reason. Newer tractors have much more capability and comfort.

As an example, my JD40 is a neat tractor, but for mowing and baling hay my IH 756 does everything better. The old 40 is now permanently hooked to a mounted sprayer with a 12V pump. Good job for an old tractor without power steering or live pto.

The 756 has diesel, live pto, ta, more gears, and nicer seat, powersteering, and decent hydraulics. Much much nicer on the baler, rakes, mower, rototiller, and disk.
