I am a future farmer looking at tractors I think a farmall h would be a perfect starting tractor I want to restore it for ffa and also pull it and do custom small square bales

An H is a fairly easy first project. As noted already, not great for farming. Also, they don’t tend to do well at stock/antique tractor pulls, seem too front heavy for hp. Crank it up then it fine, but now you really don’t have a field tractor. About the only thing it would be good for is pulling a roll a bar rake. Hydraulic capacity won’t fold a wheel rake.
