I appreciate your response. I was wondering about the distance and couldn't find any code for it in Iowa. If we go 50 ft we will have to go underground with the line.
Just to show my ignorance.
It looks to me like a NH3 tank is the same as a propane tank except for the fittings. Once the fittings and valves are the same they should interchange.
I am not sure on the thickness of this one. It must be thick as it is all my skid loader wants with a few inches of propane in the bottom. My skid loader will generally handle 3500 lbs.
Perhaps I have more reserve moving this tank than I think though.
Tank does have the data plate on it and is legible.
