Ne Nebraska | They do have to check for leaks. I put back in service last summer two old 500 gal tanks and they sent a guy out to check first- had to put new regulators on and new valves. Been probably 30 yrs since either had been used. The guy also checked all the way inside the building My line is buried from tank to building but not aware any requirement it has to be.
To be honest- I'm glad they came and checked everything out- peace of mind for a small price. | |
