Subject: RE: filling a propane tank.

I guess I don't mind them checking for leaks. It is just there is no place for it to leak at this time.
At the end of the day I was told they would not fill my tank as it was not a standard propane tank. It was a converted Nh3 tank. It has been propane for 30 years at least.
They said they would bring ( sell) me a new tank when I got my furnace in.
At that time they would install a new regulator and new lines, even though the new lines and regulator come with the furnace and would be brand new. I was surprised o find out it had to be metal lines. I thought there was a flexible line that was approved.
I do understand they want to make sure we have no problems. I respect that.
However, I will not get my furnace in until next summer if we go that route. Not to mention the truck with the wiring issues and needing the plastic dash redone. The three tractors that need serviced and tires replaced. Shed finished wired etc.
Some one else said they will fill it, possible tomorrow. I don't think they wanted to deal with an empty tank on Monday.
