I have a 35 Whelen rem 700 I bought when rem made “special” rifles a long time ago. Great gun.
Heard it called a boom wham gun
Pull the trigger and boom. Then wham something dropped dead.
It will kick a little but not bad just noticeable
Accurate as hell also out to 250. Never shot anything farther to try it at a longer range
