Silver Lake, Kansas
B-rad:

We have owned Cub Cadets and John Deere machines over the years. The last Cub Cadet was purchased right after the brand was sold by CNH. IMO, the quality was non-existent; Belts, electric clutches, ball joints on the steering, tin work that fell off regulary. We currently have a John Deere LX120 that we bought used with about 50 hours on it (very satisified) and a new John Deere (don't remember the model number) that has 4 wheel steering which is nice for mowing around trees and other obstructions. Local dealer sells a lot of consumer equipment and has plenty of parts on hands. My .02 worth.
