Virginia
We used a fixed Yetter finger type on our 7000 conservation with frame mounted coulters. It was mounted on the tool bar where the fertilizer opener was attached. They worked well but I later added the shark tooths.

This year we're running a 1750 conservation with unit mounted coulters and Yetter fixed unit mounted row cleaners. It is a used planter and had the finger type wheels but we changed to the shark tooths. This setup is working well.

We are total notill with 2/3 of the corn acreage into continuous corn and the remaining 1/3 into bean stubble. I feel the shark tooths work better on the continuous corn. We shoot for a harvest population of 30,000 + so we have a lot of residue.

I have no experience with floating cleaners but Jim's comment on the fixed units makes sense to me.
