I can powershift our old gas 366 5+2 better than our 9 and 10 speed 99 volvo's. One adjustment I made to the volvo's was the darn electronic acceleration pedal. It had a "dead spot" of about the first 1/2 inch of travel. I took a nylon zip tie and tied the arm down, preventing the accelerator from fully return up through the initial dead spot. That helped a good amount. I still dislike the electronic throttle compared to the feel of the mechanical linkage. Same for the 24 valve cummins.
