EC North Dakota | Advice I gave my son when he started driving diesel vs the old gas burner we had was to not use clutch when changing gears on good hard ground. He always tended to over rev engine when downshifting. I told him to think of the throttle as having an egg under it and the only way not to break the egg was to be light on the throttle when reving it up to go to a lower gear.
As stated above practice it what it takes to get used to shifting without the clutch or the double clutching needed on most 9 speeds. | |
