Byron IL | Try throttling up about 300 rpm when you get it out of gear. That's probably going to be a good starting point. Adjust accordingly for the truck your driving. It's going to depend on the load as well. If the truck is slowing more during your shift you will need less rpm rise. You'll catch on with practice. Just relax and remember your engine rpm has to match your speed for that gear. If it doesn't slip in you probably can deduct in your head if you need a little more or a little less throttle. | |
