Eastern Washington | Mine have about a 500rpm spread between gears, coming down i try to shift at 1200 or so and going up about the only shift at about 1700 and drop back to 1200, Cat motors pull really good in that range, don't know what your motor is but my old detroits would shift at 2100 and drop back to 1600 and struggle makeing the pull. I shift without the clutch for the most part, practice until it's secound nature. | |
