I called the local truss co and asked about the 60' trusses. He said no problem what so ever for a 60' with a 35 lb snow load and it would be at least a 3 1/2 x 12 pitch and probably more likely a 4 x 12 pitch. It will be 2x12 top and bottom for sure. The 4x 12 pitch sure would not bother me .......like other posters said the snow will shed much better. 4x12 pitch with a tin roof.....snow would come off that pretty good.
