I'd rather see a 5/12 pitch than 3.5/12. The taller truss takes less wood to be strong enough for the span and snow load and snow slides off better with that steeper slope. Neglecting snow load is how may vendors do low ball bids. Some do move the posts to 8 or 9' spacing so the load per truss is smaller.

The lumber in commercial trusses is the best clearest machine stress rated. Its not just looked at, it tested for strength and is proven strong.

My first shed has 40' span, my second has 51' span and I've seen them out to 120' at least around here. There is a lot of lumber tying the trusses together straight and angled, and many a structure has gone down overnight when the bracing wasn't complete the day the trusses went up. Its critical because the trusses are about as strong as a wet noodle to sideways forces. They are hard to pick up from the stack without breaking them when they are laid down.
