Subject: I'm surprised at some answers

Brazilton KS
I can't imagine how anyone would ever expect a farmer to know the location of every rock, log, broken harrow tooth, stob, and every other thing which could conceivably result in breaking a piece of equipment or tire or whatnot. Water and wind move stuff...how are you supposed to know what washed in with the last flood? How are you supposed to know where the next big rock is going to surface? If I knew where that harrow tooth broke off, it wouldn't be there.....
According to this line of reasoning, when you rent land do you go back on the landowner if you hit a rock in his field?? Since when is operating the machine no longer the operator's responsibility?
