Why would I beleive any university data? They do nothing on my farms or my soil types. They are biased to the highest bidder for project funding. My soil tests are about 50% accurate. I can take samples 7 days apart 3 times and get 3 different levels. How do I base a decision on that? Just don't tell me, without the data to back it up, that I am affecting everything long term by banding my fertilizer at lower rates. Thats a broad assumption on your part. The funny thing is that my yields do not match my fertility levels whatsoever so why would I dump more p&K on when I see no more money in my pocket? I did your job for 15 years working for COOP's. I know the preasure they put on people to "maintain sales" in higher pricing periods. Thats why I got out of it.
