What I prefer is a crushed whiterock with dust, with rock size being unnder 3/4". Makes for a nice appearance & the dust lets it pack. I put some in a shed one time several years ago that didn't have the dust & it never did pack, always would move about.

As other's have said have said, the key to any driveway on shed floor is the base. For new drives we usually start out by digging it out, putting in 2"-3" rock. Cover that with a roadpack and drive on for awhile to get packed in good then come back in & cover with the whiterock.

Haven't had any experience with the fabric but have heard a lot of good things about it.
