Subject: Re: Gasoline tank disposal

Having to remove and dispose of many underground diesel tanks in my work in the 1990's. I can say, be careful. I like the idea of filling it with water and letting it freeze solid. Here in north Texas it would never freeze, but it may in Maryland. If you are located where you could do it, also Tommyw-5088 idea of burning it has merit. Here I would just put about 5 gallons of gasoline in the tank after it was put on a burn pile, and then set the pile on fire and get far away from the pile fast and wait for the explosion. That should blow an end out, depending on how it was made. But I could do that well away from buildings and people. Might scare some cows and horses, and probably me.

Be Careful,

Bob
