sw corner ia. | Ron, I can see that there are benefits to the RR corn program, But I don't believe that callisto has a crop safety issue and is probably more effective on broadleaves than glyphosate ever could hope to be, although zero on grasses. Many preemerge products seem to work just well enough to get me by with no damage to the corn that I can see so far, using degreextra, or fulltime. Neither will give enough lasting grass control to last all summer, but neither will glypyhosate, although the timing of the post application of it sure helps. Most of my neighbors are into rrcorn so I guess I am on the outside looking in. | |
