| Planted all RR corn the last 2 years.
Conv. till corn goes in and we wait until the weeds make us (see weeds that will begin to hurt corn) then 1Qt RU and 1 QT Aatrex. Clean as a pin two years running for only 6 dollars not counting tech fee.
Notill corn gets 1qt Ru, 1qt 2,4D, 2qts Aatrex burn down. Then if we see anything to clean up it is 1qt RU. So most gets by at 10 dollars. The rest at 14 bucks. Last year 50 acs. had a second treatment. This year only 75 acs. Both dry years and we didn't see the weed pressure that I have in the past.
All of the above looks dumb until you remember the wet Springs that had us sitting in the shop while the Fall Panicum took the corn. When the Sun came out all we had was Accent. Which is to say we had nothing............
If I could go back 20 years and replace all the corn with RU corn and all the Accent with RU I would be much better off than I am today by big bucks.
When a company I like comes out with LL at a price I can justify we will plant LL in rotation with RUR.
