Subject: someone told me

RR crops have mad both the good farmers and poor farmers average. It's probably cose to the truth as far as appearance is concerned. I've seem a lot of normally weedy field become relatively clean with RR technology. All of a sudden that good managers fields doen't look as good compared to what was usually a mess accross the road. It's raised the bar as to what average is. That being said they do have there place and are great mangement tool. Corn is going to be like beans for non RR availibility. The seed companies have to reduce the piles of each hybrid family offered. My opinion is soon it will be RR and triples only except for some specialty applications. What was the actual percent of acres with RR corn for 2007? I would guess nationwide it is well over 50%.
