Saronville NE | I have cut it after a freeze to get it dry nuff to cut for silage, IDK how that would work for hay though. It makes dang good feed IF you can get it dry, even if cut at 3-4ft which is what I try to do is it still will lay 2 wks and may stil not be totally dry. I actually grazed mine this year after the freeze, instead of cutting a 2nd time, 1st time we cut it, it layed for 2 wks and had turned and still wasnt dryed, finally just said screw it were talking rain and baled it, will just grind it and live with it I quess. | |
