We farrowed on pasture in huts when I was a kid. I'm 33 now, and back then you could hardly drive 5 miles in any direction without finding a hog farm. Now I think there are 3 or 4 in our county. I remember when I was a kid two guys would often share a boar... hard to imagine that anymore!
