| That's a flighty market and if you can get regular buyers lined up, you'll look like a genious - in some ways it's like raising pigs in the 70's and 80's where they lifted mortgages and put kids through school on what seems like relatively few pigs. That market is pretty limited and it's certainly a lot of work. I realize contract finishing isn't a no-risk business, but I'm not sure I'd want to jump into the organic/antibiotic free/etc market. We have a packing plant sitting empty (though it was just bought) because of too many eggs in the non-antibiotic basket (I guess that would be pigs). Tough market, but to those who can make it work, great. The rest of us have to raise pork for the rest of the world that isn't quite as rich.
