Central IL | Same question was asked in our district. IL requires the bus be sized for a route such that all children on rural routes be able to be picked up by a bus. The problem is since many parents allow their children to drive or take them to school themselves the school bus drives by our house practically empty. But we can not save money by extending the route or eliminating a bus even though the kids do not ride the bus. | |
