Mid Michigan | The buses probably aren't as big of a waste of resources as 200 kids driving to school in seperate cars because their parents can afford to buy them cars and put insurance on them. It's all about priorities. If the school allows the kids to drive to school they probably won't ride the bus. I have an idea. Charge the kids for parking in the school lot $5 bucks a day and leave it at that. Use the money to fund the buses and everybody will be happy. A person paying for their kid to fart around and drive around town all day can obviously afford the parking charge. Might even make a few of them say you need to ride the bus because were not paying $20 bucks a week for parking. | |
