New Mexico | generally in the 1,500 to 2,500 squ mile range.
Buses are contracted. Contracts are all local.
Some of the contractors own 1 bus, some own on up to 12 buses.
Farthest runs are generally 50 to 60 miles one way.
Also on the far runs, few passengers ( say 2 to 6 ).
So on the far runs, the buses used are the 1 ton van type bus ( seating capacity...maybe a dozen ).
The way the population keeps dropping in the remote here...doubt we'll need any buses within 5 years.
