| Dont feel bad about telling a doc. I myself hit rock bottom and lost a gf before I realized I had a problem. Dont be afraid to talk your doctor, a therapist, or pyschatrist about it. They will help you with meds if needed. I started with therapy learned alot of things about myself. My diagnosis was bipolar type 2 rapid cycling. I just thought I was a lil depressed at the time and I had anger problems which I thought was realated to high blood pressure. The docs finally figured me out and I cant be happier. They put me on sqeroquel xr 150 mg for the mood swings and then 20 mg celexa for the dreppesion. Ill tell you what I havent felt better anytime in my life after the meds. It was also a very quick change for me as well less than a week and I could see it. Ive also learned material things dont matter what matters is god, family, friends, and the earth that that he gave us.
