Subject: RE: Hardwood flooring

Shelby, MT
Mike, I am on your side too... I never grew up in a house with hardwood floor and after having it I see I didn't miss a thing. We bought our current house 3 years ago and it had a beautiful real oak floor in kitchen and dining room that was pretty new. Very pretty and really impressed us when we were looking at the house. Now after 3 years I tell everybody there was a reason all our grandparents and such were excited when carpet was invented....A hardwood floor is a maintenance pain in rear...
NOTE TO ALL if your getting a hardwood floor, order the Hover Floormate with the materials...otherwise you and your spouse will start to look like the tire rundown farm wife that was in the all the great depression pictures...she got that way trying the keep that floor mopped and clean and so on and so on.... also get used to worring about what will scratch the floor and putting pads under chairs etc...
