I guess it is a result of growing up in drafty old farm houses.  You can keep your wood floors.  Give me a nice warm carpet any time.

We redid one of the bathrooms a couple years ago and made it into a half bath / laundry room.  It has a floating hardwood floor from Lowe's in it. Don't know the brand but it has foam attached to the back for easy installation.  It's beautiful, fantastic, just what it needed. That's my wife's bathroom.  Mine has indoor/outdoor carpeting on the floor.
