West/NW Minnesota | We just put in Stranded Carbonized Bamboo. It is basically heated so the sugars darken the bamboo I believe. There are other bamboos as well that aren't as dark so it depends on how dark you want it. It is a really hard floor, so far no complaints in 3-4 months of having it (2 kids under 4 years old and a large dog). Bought it at Lumber Liquidators, price was more that fair, and had a local company put it in and the price was more than affordable.
The only thing is to try and make sure it is all from the same lot, as some may have a slightly differnet color, a tad darker or lighter. | |
