Guess I better try the wet on the next bunch of calves.  I always thought it had to be fed within two weeks. Here the price of ddg's follows the price of corn and my last load cost equivalent of $4.90 corn and my on farm price of corn was $5.10 so not a big difference.  I fed 6 pounds of ddg's/day from the beginning, figuring that as they got older they didn't need as much protein so by just increasing the corn I could keep the protein in line with recommendations.  Also by increasing the corn I am increasing the starch which I think improves the grade of the meat.  What are your thoughts?

Do you prefer wet ddg's over wet gluten or just feed what is cheapest?
