Scottville, 49454 Northwest Michigan | I have a DeeZee crossover toolbox behind the cab of my pickup. Part of the hardware to hold the release button to open the door is missing. I did a google search to contact DeeZee. I called the toll-free number and explained to the person on the other end of the phone what parts I needed. I told the man that I had a credit card number I could use to purchase the parts.
Much to my surprise he said, "Don't worry about it. We'll just go ahead and send you the parts."
Wow, was I surprised! I realize his "charity" didn't amount to a whole lot of money. But it was still a nice act of kindness from a person and a company that doesn't know me. I thought it was pretty cool.
Obviously, DeeZee has gained a friend and supporter. In the future, I'll be inclined to give DeeZee preferential consideration when buying pickup tool boxes.
I wonder if any of you have had similar experiences. If you have, would you mind sharing them? I'd be interested in hearing them.
thanks, gordon |
