Simocattle - 4/9/2024 01:41 I have voted for president in every election since I was 18. I have voted for a Republican every time. Many of us are feeling left out of the decision making process as we don’t get a chance to decide who our preferred candidate is. If my non vote protest is part of the problem then so be it the system is broken. This idea that a new Trump administration will fix all that ills us is crazy. Our own governor who is likely his running mate has dissed land owners by preferring taking money to support a CO2 pipeline rather than private property rites of the citizens who own the land. I could go on but our non vote is a protest to the current mess that is American politics. Money is the mother’s milk of politics as one famous conservative used to say 30 years ago and boy was he right.
