If I had $12,000 just sitting around collecting dust, I'd gladly fix it. But being unable to work for over 6 months last year kind of eliminates that option. My tax dollars going to support the agency, I should be able to use it.
Not trying to be a Richard on this deal, but I’m with Clicker. I pay a lot in taxes also, and can’t say I’m in favor of one penny going to fix a private dam on your private property. If you want to own property, it’s your job to maintain it, not mine. If you can’t handle that, sell to someone who can. Just the way it is, never said you have to like it. |
