Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio | I’ve installed a bunch o grass waterways. The first ones I called a contractor and got a quote for him doing the work and me paying 100% and a quote if we did it the way NRCS or soil and water or whatever they were called back then wanted. The government quote was double. We had a real good, down to earth, local soil and water guy back then. In a casual conversation I told him what I wanted to do. His advice was just do it and don’t even tell him about it. He said Id probably save 25% out of pocket doing it myself.
