Galahad, Alberta | You can take a chair lift up Mt Norquay just outside Banff to a little tea house/restaurant. You can also take a chair lift up the Lake Louise ski area to an interpretive center and restaurant. I enjoy this one a lot. Good chance to see a grizzly. The drive up the icefields parkway (#93) to Jasper is beautiful. I also enjoy Jasper more than Louise or Banff. There is a nice hot springs (Miette) outside Jasper and a good gondola tour up the mountain. I'd book everything ahead of time if possible. The Parks are crazy busy. Also, you will have to buy a park pass to go into the National parks (Banff or Jasper) Do the math, it may be cheaper to buy a season pass.
