Spring Lake, MI | I will recommend a hike:
Sunshine Mountain Lodge runs in the summer for hiking, etc.
You take a Gondola up the mountain to the lodge. Then a chairlift to the top of the mountain. There is quite a bit of hiking, but one of the most picturesque is to hike to the continental divide. Maybe 1/2 hour hike to the divide, then down to the lake, etc... where you want to go from there is up to you. The divide itself is beautiful. Lots of small wildlife, etc. above the tree line.
