Yes I do VT every spring. Partly to incorporate fertilizer and the main reason is to smooth out cattle tracks. Even if the ground is froze when grazed there tends to be a few cattle paths across the field. It doesn't seem to stay froze hard enough during the grazing time.
I always run at an angle. Usually 10-20 degrees from the corn rows.
