Ludington/Manistee MI area

Vorderstrasse - 2/24/2024 11:40 I’ve gotten to the point if someone want stalks I give them until December 1 to graze them.

Good heavens it was after December 1st we finished corn.  Had beans next to pasture so let cows out into them after Christmas.  Last year had cows on stalks chased them out rolled up fencing and hit it with the disc chisel all in a matter of days.  If you’re going to want them off by December 1st no point in doing it. If tillage isn’t done by Thanksgiving it’s not happening.
