What kinda yields are they making? I’m not trying to argue, just wondering.
Usually we figure a month of grazing for every 100-120 bu.
And I farm a fairly wide range of soils. Some you’re happy with 80bu corn. Some 220 is a disappointment. But lower yeilds definitely equate to a lot less residue, therefore value for grazing
cattle on stalks left lots of hoof indentations.
