If you're using this area as a cow trap, I would go with something heavier. As a few had mentioned below, some guardrail or continuous panels. For grazing and everyday stuff, hi-tensile or woven is good. New cattle you are receiving may have never seen a fence and blow through it. Wound up, recently corralled cattle may be wound up and jumpy. I would want something firm, unmovable and unbend-able in those types of circumstances.

If you do go with woven and do the work yourself, find something heavier than Red Brand. I don't know where you would find a thicker gauge woven wire but the "heavy" Red Brand sold in the box stores is so flimsy and thin it's almost like it's just for show. You need to be really careful when stretching it, the top and bottom wires are nice and thick, the filler wires in between are laughable.
